41% of UK species have declined in abundance since 1970
The 2019 State of Nature report showed that the distribution and abundance of UK wildlife species have been in decline since 1970. The evidence from the last 50 years shows that significant and ongoing changes in the way we manage our land for agriculture, and the ongoing effects of climate change are having the biggest impacts on nature.
Naturehood goes beyond individual actions
We empower neighbours to work together to create Naturehoods. These are thriving networks of wildlife-friendly space, which have a significant impact on biodiversity.
