Help and support for your naturehood

Help starting a group

Groups are a fantastic way to kick-start community action for wildlife. And working as a group benefits people as well as nature! It’s a way to meet new people with shared interests in your area.

Get started with Naturehood

You can decide together on a focus for your group. Perhaps you’re all interested in pollinators, pond networks or wildlife passageways connecting your spaces for nature with local parks. Having a group on Naturehood will help you work towards this vision as you share photos, ideas and resources. Complete this form to request your own group.

When you set up a group it is important to share it and encourage people to join. You can do this in person with your friends and family, neighbours and at local gatherings, like a faith group meeting. There’s also lots that you can do online by posting in the Naturehood feed, on your own social media accounts and in local neighbourhood groups or apps.
